Join us for celebrations all year long!
Marshall Moving Forward, a 501c non-profit organization, is sponsoring the year long celebration of the 225th Anniversary of the formation of the territory we know today as Marshall, Virginia (formerly Salem). Since 1797, Marshall, Virginia has a long rich history and was home to many who formed our Country. Thousands of acres of farmland, small crossroad villages and commerce provided a way of life that expanded for centuries. Modern day Marshall maintains the agricultural approach while the service district offers opportunities for economic growth and vitality.
You are welcome to be a part of this year-long celebration. We have already formed a planning committee, but it is not too late to participate. We will need several hands to help with this endeavor.

A commemorative color Marshall 225th Anniversary program (8.5”x11” saddle stitched) will be printed as a keepsake, and will offer maps, history and events of this celebration.
